Colorado is separated by the Southern Rocky Mountains that run almost through the center of the state. These mountains provide Colorado residents with some of the most spectacular mountain scenery of any state in the US. Colorado’s climate is dry and sunny with temperatures in Denver ranging from lows in the winter of below 20 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and almost 90 degrees in the summer.

Colorado’s economy is strong, with am emphasis in manufacturing, primarily electronic equipment and aerospace products. Denver has enjoyed a healthy growth in population since the early 1970s due in part because of the increase in the numbers of shi resorts and spas that take advantage of Colorado’s beauty. The ski resorts in Aspen and Vail, the mountains and the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs are among the most popular attractions in Colorado.
